This AHA ACLS and PALS SKILLS course is designed for advanced healthcare providers in enhanced pediatric and cardiac care.
This is the ACLS/PALS (skills training) instructor-led classroom for students that have sucessfully completed the online acls and pals training course and needs the skills testing for both PALS and ACLS.
PALS is geared towards healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children and for personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years.
ACLS is geared for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units.
Intended Audience:
Please note: To attend this course, you must have already taken a ACLS and PALS online course and is current in both certifications. If you have not completed ACLS or PALS full course, or if you need ACLS or PALS for the first time, you, must enroll in a New Provider course. To enroll please register for the ACLS Provider Course or call 541 668-1731 to sign up for a full provider course.
AHA recommends purchase of ACLS and the PALS student handbook.
AHA recommends the purchase of the 2020 ACLS and PALS student handbook. They can be acquired through AHA at onlineaha.org/AHA, worldpoint.com or aed superstore.
Class starts promptly at the listed start time. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before class is scheduled to start, so that you may sign in and the instructor can go over any administrative information that needs to be covered. All students must be in the class by 15 minutes after class start time. Any student who is not in class by then must reschedule their course. No refunds will be issued.
