The American Heart Association Basic Life Support (Refresher Training) is designed for "current" Healthcare Providers who are renewing or updating their current BLS card. This course provides the most up-to-date BLS information and the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe timely and effective manner.

Intended Audience: This course is for healthcare professionals renewing their BLS certification who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.

AHA recommends the purchase of the 2020 BLS student handbook. They can be acquired through AHA at onlineaha.org/AHA, worldpoint.com or aed superstore.

Class starts promptly at the listed start time. Please arrive 10-15 minutes before class is scheduled to start, so that you may sign in and the instructor can go over any administrative information that needs to be covered. All students must be in the class by 15 minutes after class start time. Any student who is not in class by then must reschedule their course. No refunds will be issued.
